Short bio: 
Fiona completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science at The University of Waterloo in Canada and was awarded her PhD, entitled “Wastewater reuse – modelling the human health risks with various reuse applications”, in 2015 from The University of Melbourne. She spent the last 3 years working as a Research Fellow at Turning Point using administrative data to assess service use amongst alcohol and other drug treatment seekers and to develop a patient characterization model to assist with system and service planning. Fiona is a now a Research Fellow in the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Unit of the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University (Australia). Fiona’s areas of interest include risk analysis and modelling related to human exposure to alternative water sources including recycled water and she has assessed case studies in Australia, Africa and Antarctica. Fiona is a member of the International Water Association, the editorial board for the journal Microbial Risk Analysis, and reviews for a number of relevant journals.
