Kick off Meeting - NSF funded Research Coordination Network on SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance

Description: This is the initial kickoff meeting of the National Science Foundation funded Research Coordination Network on SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance. There has been a high research and public interest in SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance to monitoring COVID-19 presence and prevalence within communities; however, despite its potential and the resultant excitement surrounding applications of SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance there are critical research questions that remain to be addressed. The goal of the Research Coordination Network is to connect interested researchers and individuals to rapidly advance the science of SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance The meeting will include an overall introduction to Research Coordination Network activities and several short lightning talks to give an overview of the status of the SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance field.
